Yesterday, we leaned “threw“. Today, it is “through“.

Do you say the “gh”? 🤔

Nope!  It sounds like “threw” and  “thru“.

Did you know that “nope” means “no”?   😮
Yep!  It does! 😀

You walk through a doorway.

This road goes through a tree!

The needle is going through a hole.

You look through a window.
Air can come in through an open window.

It is hard to see through this window!

Throw sounds like the letter O, like “thro”.   Do not say it like “now”.

The man throws a water balloon.
He is throwing a water balloon.
What is he throwing it at?

Yesterday, he threw one at me.😠
Should I throw one at him? 🤔

This is a trash can.
We throw trash into the trash can.  🚮
Do you have some trash?  Throw it away!

After a foul in basketball, there is a free throw.

Do you know what we call this?

We say “throw up”!  Really!
I hope you don’t throw up.

The word “but” can help you make long sentences.

You can say:

I ate dinner.   😋
I am still hungry.  😞

But it is better to make one long sentence.

>>> I ate dinner, but I am still hungry.

It is sunny.  ☀️
It is is cold.  ❄️

>>> It is sunny, but it is cold.

BUT means the second part is different.

I would write more, but I have to go to sleep now.

Here is another good song. You can listen, and read the words.

He has a nice voice.

Can we talk now? I will tell you a story with these two words.

Oh!  Do not say the L when you say “talk“.  Say it like “tok”.  🙄

How do you say “said”?  It is not “say” with a “d” at the end.
It is like bed and red.  >>>  He said the bed is red.
