look and see

These are easy words. But, when do you say LOOK and when do you say SEE?

Look at the ball!

I see the ball.

Look” means you WANT to do this, or you MUST do this.
🤔🤔🤔  I want a car. I will look for a car.

See” means “OH!  Wow!  I see it!”  😮
If I see a nice car, I will buy it.

Please look through this window.
What do you see? I see clouds ☁️☁️☁️. I do not see the sun.

The man, woman, and baby are looking at the sky.
Maybe they see the sun. 🌞
Maybe they see a bird. 🕊️

What is the cat 🐱 looking at?
If it sees a mouse 🐭, it will be happy.

I saw my friend yesterday. I was not looking for him, but I was happy I saw him.

Look at this picture.
What do you see? Tell me in a comment!
